The Dow Jones Industrial Average took a 413-point, or 1.3% dive, in afternoon trading Thursday, and has dropped 1,024-points amid a five-day losing streak. The biggest drag on the down on Thursday is Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s stock , which shed $10.37, or 3.6% to shave about 68 points off the Dow’s price. The selloff comes after fellow Dow banking component JPMorgan Chase & Co. reported a second-quarter profit miss, with the stock falling $4.87, or 4.4%, to cut about 32 points off the Dow.
