Twitter is going through a rollercoaster ride. Now, about 62,000 suspended accounts could reportedly rise back from the dead.
What Happened: Days after Elon Musk announced “general amnesty” for suspended accounts, Twitter has started reinstating of about 62,000 accounts, according to Platformer.
Of the 62,000 accounts, one has more than five million followers, while at least 75 accounts have over one million followers.
Internally, employees refer to this chain of events as “the Big Bang.” The identities of these accounts are yet to be determined.
Twitter did not immediately respond to Benzinga’s request for comment.

Why It’s Important: Musk’s plan to bring back a significant number of suspended accounts could cause more instability at Twitter, the report noted, citing current employees.
For each reinstatement, Twitter needs to rebuild a social graph, activating data on who the account follows and vice versa.
In particular, the process could become more challenging for large accounts like that of former U.S. President Donald Trump‘s, which has about 88 million followers.
Musk also plans to relaunch Twitter Blue, which enables anyone to buy the coveted blue verification badge by paying a monthly premium of $8 — although his plans were interrupted by a series of impersonations and misinformation instances.
