Tesla, Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk has previously noted that all Tesla vehicles delivered come with Full Self-Driving (FSD) Hardware 3, which would eventually allow the car to fully drive itself without a human present. But now an updated set of the self-driving hardware has been leaked on Twitter.

Twitter user @greentheonly is known for leaking upcoming Tesla hardware and software updates before the company officially announces them. And now he has shared details of Tesla’s upcoming hardware update that could enable better functionality on the company’s optional $15,000 FSD software package.
The leak includes pictures of the totally reworked computer board. According to Green, it now contains 20 cores instead of 12, with a built-in GPU for an overall thinner package.
The hardware also has inputs for 12 cameras, as opposed to the current Hardware 3 setup that contains 8 exterior cameras and 1 interior camera. Green also speculates that the new hardware setup will include cameras in the front bumper for better side-view visibility. More information can be expected to be released at Tesla’s Investor Day on March 1st.
